PRESS & BRAND

Everything needed to describe Exedra Gate accurately.

Boilerplate approved for verbatim use, the company record, the marks and how to use them, and what our name and our two lines actually mean. If something here is not enough, or a fact is missing that we have not published, write to office@exedragate.com.

Status, plainly: the compliance rail (onboarding, KYC, contracts, signing, data rooms and evidence packs) is live in production. Global visibility is in build: investors invited by an issuer are onboarding today, while open registration and the global deal feed are not yet live. We have not announced clients, funding, or volumes, and we would rather that were printed than something more generous.

THE SHORT VERSION

Boilerplate, in three lengths.

These are approved for verbatim use. No attribution needed, no approval needed.

ONE LINE

Exedra Gate is unified infrastructure for regulated work, where a raise closes in a cryptographic record a reviewer can check years later with free standard tools.

SHORT · c. 60 WORDS

Exedra Gate is unified infrastructure for regulated work. Issuers run a raise end to end (investor onboarding, identity checks, contract generation, signing and the data room) and choose whether it is visible worldwide or by invitation only. Each raise closes in a signed, independently timestamped evidence pack that a third party can verify offline. Exedra Gate never holds, routes or settles investor funds.

FULL · c. 120 WORDS

Exedra Gate is unified infrastructure for regulated work, built for capital workflows that are examined later. Issuers onboard investors, verify identity, generate and sign contracts and run their data room on a single rail, and decide raise by raise whether it is globally visible or invitation-only. Global visibility ships with jurisdiction gating, investor categorisation and risk disclaimers, so a raise is never shown to a viewer the issuer has excluded. Investors register at no cost, self-select from what issuers publish, and keep their own record of what they were shown. Documents, signatures and document access are signed, hash-chained and timestamped by an independent authority, so a raise closes in an evidence pack a reviewer can check offline with standard tools (that the documents are unchanged and existed at the stated moment), with free standard tools. Exedra Gate is software infrastructure: it never holds, routes or settles investor funds, and takes no percentage of any raise. It is operated by ATRUM STUDIOS LTD, Republic of Cyprus.

PLEASE GET THIS RIGHT

What Exedra Gate is not.

This is the section we most want read. The categories below are regulated activities we do not perform, and describing us as one of them is not a rounding error. It is inaccurate.

Not a financial intermediary, in any sense. Exedra Gate is not a broker, dealer, custodian, escrow provider, investment adviser, exchange, trading venue or ATS. It does not hold, route, settle or execute investor funds; funds move only between the parties and their own licensed institutions. It does not match buyers and sellers of securities, does not recommend offerings to investors, and charges no success fee and no percentage of any raise. Its clients, whether issuers, investors or compliance teams, carry the regulated obligations; Exedra Gate supplies the evidence infrastructure beneath them.

Not a deal recommender

Listings are published by issuers, who control their own visibility. There is no ranking of deals, no per-investor suitability score, and no Exedra Gate quality rating on any issuer. Investors filter on neutral facts and choose for themselves. A listing appearing on the platform is never an endorsement of it.

Not an AI that decides

Our software surfaces signals to a human reviewer: missing evidence, inconsistencies, document mismatches. It does not approve, reject or finalise any compliance outcome, and it does not output a verdict about any person. A human decides, always. Please do not describe us as automating compliance decisions.

Not a verdict on anyone

Our screening and verification badges describe a check that was run, on a date, against named sources, never someone's character and never an investment's quality. A badge means no adverse match surfaced in what was checked. It does not mean safe, trustworthy, or a good investment, and it is not a guarantee of future conduct.

MARKS & ASSETS

The wordmark and the mark.

The identity has exactly two elements: the wordmark, set in Inter SemiBold in a single colour, and the mark: a solid arch, standing on two feet, with the passage cut through it. There is no monogram, no third variant, and no alternative lockup. Anything presented as an Exedra Gate logo that is not one of these files is not ours.

What the mark depicts The mark is a gate. Its outer silhouette is also the curve of the exedra, the semicircular recess the company is named after, but the reading that comes first is the arch itself: solid where the architecture stands, open where the way in is.

A gate is the one piece of architecture that only means something when someone passes through it. That crossing is what the mark is about: an investor committing to a company at its beginning, stepping from outside to inside; and the older sense of a city or castle gate, where passing through meant admission to something bounded and deliberately not open to everyone. It is drawn heavy on purpose: masonry, not a diagram.
FOR THE ISSUER

The issuer becomes the castle

An issuer does not visit the walls. It becomes them. The raise stops being spread across five systems and an inbox and lives in one place: onboarding, identity, contracts, signing and the data room on a single rail, not public, run the same way every time. That is what being well prepared actually consists of: not a posture, but one private, consistent place where the work is done and recorded as it happens. Gaps that would otherwise surface years later are visible while they can still be fixed, and scrutiny stops being an event a company braces for and becomes something it can simply answer.

To be exact, because it matters: the protection is not from regulators, auditors or examination. It is from being unprepared for them. Exedra Gate does not shield an issuer from any authority, does not make compliance obligations go away, and does not decide whether a raise is compliant. The issuer and its compliance officer do.

FOR THE INVESTOR

A gate is defined by not standing open

The semicircle is the outline of a gate, and a gate that is always open is just an opening. This one opens on two conditions: identity has been verified, and the issuer has admitted the investor. Passing through it then carries the meaning it has always carried: beginning something, or becoming part of something larger than the single transaction.

Equally exact, because it will otherwise be misread: the choosing is the issuer's, not ours. Exedra Gate does not hand-pick investors. Verification confirms who someone is as at a date. It is not a judgment of an investor's quality, and being admitted to a raise is never an endorsement of that raise.

The kit contains every wordmark and mark variant, plus the app icon. Where a format is missing (vector, print resolution, a specific background), we send it on request rather than have it rebuilt.

Please do

  • Use the supplied files unaltered.
  • Leave clear space around the mark of at least the cap-height of the "E".
  • Use the light-background version on white or pale surfaces, so it stays legible.
  • Scale the wordmark down as far as it stays readable. It is set in Inter SemiBold and holds up small.
  • Use the wordmark and the mark together, or either one alone. Both are correct.

Please do not

  • Recolour, outline, add a gradient, shadow, or set it at an angle.
  • Stretch, condense, or re-space the letters.
  • Fill the mark's arches, close them at the base, or thicken the line. The openness and the hairline weight are the design.
  • Rebuild it by typing "Exedra Gate" in another typeface.
  • Write it as one word, all caps, or abbreviate it (see below).
  • Place it on a busy image, or lock it up with another brand's mark as if we were partners.
Writing the name It is Exedra Gate: two words, capital E, capital G, no hyphen. Not "ExedraGate", not "Exedra gate", not "EXEDRA GATE" in running text, and please not "EG". On second reference, "Exedra Gate" again is fine; where something shorter is needed, "the platform" reads better than an initialism we do not use ourselves.
THE VISION

The bar for proof keeps rising. Memory does not.

Private capital still closes on assembled memory. Documents in one system, identity checks in another, signatures in a third, and the thread that connects them living in somebody's inbox and somebody's recollection. It holds until the day it is questioned by an auditor, a regulator, an incoming investor, or counsel on the other side.

By then the question is rarely whether the right thing was done. It is whether it can be shown, years later, to someone who was not there. Reconstruction is expensive, slow, and weakest exactly where it matters most.

Exedra Gate's position is that the record should be a by-product of doing the work, not a project undertaken afterwards. Documents, signatures and the record of who was given access are recorded as they happen, chained to what came before, and timestamped by an authority that is not us. What closes at the end of a raise is not a folder. It is a verifiable artifact.

The test we hold ourselves to is deliberately uncomfortable: the check must run on the reviewer's own machine, with free standard tools. What it establishes is narrow, and we state it narrowly: the documents are unchanged, and they existed at the stated moment, because the timestamp comes from an authority that is not us. An evidence pack carries everything that check needs: published algorithms, an independent timestamp authority, and the trust chain shipped inside the archive itself.

THE NAME

An exedra is a seat, built into architecture, for consequential conversation.

Where the word comes from

Exedra is Greek: ἐξέδρα, from ex ("out") and hedra ("seat"): literally an out-seat. In Greek and later Roman architecture it is a recess opening off a colonnade or portico, usually semicircular, with a permanent bench built into it. The Roman architect Vitruvius describes exedrae as the places in a colonnade where philosophers, rhetoricians and others given to study would sit and dispute.

It is neither a closed room nor the open street. It is a defined space, open to those admitted to the colonnade, where who is seated is visible, and where what was said carried weight.

Why we chose it

Because it describes the room we are building. Private capital is not a public square and it is not a locked vault; it is a bounded space entered by admission, where serious conversations happen between people who can see who else is present.

And because an exedra is permanent architecture. The conversation ends; the seat remains, cut in stone, still there for whoever comes next. That is the same claim we make about the record, which is why the name and the product argue the same thing.

Gate is the second half of the idea: the threshold. Not everyone enters, entry is deliberate, and the crossing is recorded.

Pronunciation EK-si-druh GAYT. Stress on the first syllable of Exedra. Plural of the architectural term is exedrae or exedras, but the company is always and only "Exedra Gate", never pluralised.
THE TWO LINES

One in English, for the brand. One in Latin, for the seal.

They are not alternatives to each other and they are not interchangeable. Each has a place it belongs and a place it does not.

THE BRAND LINE

Beyond memory.

What it means. Two readings, both intended. The first is a standard: a record worth having must reach beyond what anyone can remember: past recollection, past the people who were in the room, into something checkable. The second is the reason: when a raise is questioned, memory is not an answer. Not because anyone is lying, but because memory is uncorroborated, contested, and worth very little to the person asking.

What it does not mean. It is not a claim about capability, speed or scale, and it is not a boast. It is a statement of what we think a record has to survive.

Usage. Sentence case, with the full stop: Beyond memory. It sits under the wordmark as an identity line, set small and quiet. Do not enlarge it into a headline, do not translate it, do not append it to product claims.

THE SEAL MOTTO

Scripta manent

What it means. "Written things remain." It is the second half of a long-established Latin proverb, verba volant, scripta manent: spoken words fly away, written words remain. The full proverb was originally a caution about the written word, since what is written cannot be taken back. We use it in the affirmative sense it has carried for centuries: what is written down endures, and can be produced later.

Where it appears. Only engraved on sealed artifacts: the certification seal, and sealed artifacts derived from it. It is deliberately not on our website's footer, not in advertising, and not a tagline. A motto that is stamped on a sealed thing should appear only on sealed things.

Usage. Italics, capital S only, no full stop. Please do not attribute the proverb to a named author. The popular attribution is traditional and poorly evidenced; "a long-established Latin proverb" is the accurate description.

What we have not claimed. We have not published client names, raise volumes, headcount or funding, and nothing on this site should be read as implying them. We hold no financial services licence. The activities that require one (trading, exchange, custody, fund handling, advice, and promoting specific offerings for compensation) are out of scope or delegated to licensed third parties. Certifications such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001 are on our roadmap and are not in place today. Any superlative about us did not come from us.

Exedra Gate is a technology platform, not a broker, dealer, custodian, escrow provider, or investment adviser. It never holds, routes, or settles investor funds, does not recommend offerings to investors, and charges no success-based fees on raises. Nothing on this page is an offer of securities or financial advice.
